Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative and International Private Law (MPIPriv) in the period from 2016 to 2019 reserves annually the means for one research scholarship for SEELS scholars. This would give opportunity to some of the most talented young academics in the region to advance their academic careers in one of the most distinguished institutions in the field of Private Law.
The duration of the scholarship is limited to two months. The scholarships will only be awarded if the application meets the established very high standards of MPIPriv for the award of a scholarship. All interested persons are requested to use the application procedure at the MPIPriv. Applications for research stays in 2016 will be accepted as of August 2015.

The reservation of the funds guarantees that at least one scholar from the SEELS members will receive funding as it does not preclude individual applications of the scholars and award of more than one scholarship on individual base.
