HELP Programme in the Western Balkans (Training of Trainers)
All the actors in the legal system have a role and responsibility in the way human rights are protected in the countries. It is, therefore, crucial that legal professionals are aware how to refer to European and international human rights protection mechanisms in their daily work.
HELP Training-of-Trainers sessions (ToTs) are used as one of the tools to support National Training Institutions and Bar Associations, to deliver high quality and tailor-made trainings on human rights to legal professionals. Therefore, HELP courses are adequate to be used as a resource in the higher legal education.
It is expected that ToTs for the higher legal education institutions will contribute to expanding the scope of the resources available to the Law Faculties in the human rights’ education.
The Training-of-Trainers of the HELP Programme for higher legal education professionals is being held at the Faculty in Law in Belgrade, 6-7 November. The event is organized by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the SEELS Network.
